(North Canton, Ohio)- Tom Darling (Oswego, N.Y.) went 2-for-5 and Jordan Hunneyman (Redwood, N.Y.) went 3-for-6 in the afternoon for the Roos as they played a doubleheader versus Walsh University losing both games 14-0 and 7-1.
Pitching for SUNY Canton in game one was Will McIntyre (Ottawa, Ontario), facing 17 batters in two innings, Travis Legacy (Malone, N.Y.) who faced eight batters and allowed zero hits, Jason Thomas (Harrisville, N.Y.) who faced 12 batters for five hits, and Dom Deliberti (Staten Island, N.Y.) who allowed one hit after facing five batters.
Game two saw freshman Jared Marckese (Lecanton, Fla.) hitting a solo home run in the fourth inning for the Roos. Zach Rosenthal (Miami, Fla.) was on the mound for game two, pitching four innings, facing 16 batters, allowing two hits and striking out six. Dylan Casselman (Brockville, Ontario) was brought in for the remaining two innings, facing 13 batters and striking out one.
