St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team placed all five of its scorers in the top ten to capture its 12th consecutive Liberty League Cross Country Championship at Bard on Saturday.

While RPI's Grace Tilton ended a streak of 10 straight individual champions for the Saints with a win in 21:23 on the 6 kilometer course, Saint seniors Amy Cymerman and Ariel Beccia finished second and third and teammates Lisa Grohn, Anne Martino and Toria Koutras finished sixth, seventh and tenth to give the Saints 27 points and a 30-point cushion on second place RPI in the team scoring. Vassar finished third with 77 points followed by RIT with 86, Clarkson and Union tied for fifth at 161, William Smith seventh at 193 and Bard eighth at 246.

Cymerman ran 21:35 to finish second with Beccia finishing in 21:49, Grohn in 22:19, Martino in 22:36 and Koutras in 23:08. Melanie Swick was the Saints' sixth finisher, 16th overall in 23:39 with Anna Rabideau completing the Saint top seven in 23:43.

Kate Sneden was 31st in 24:27, Mary Beth Benzing was 35th in 24:35, Lydia Vogt 37th in 24:37, Kelsey Leder was 41st in 24:40, Madeline Funk finished 47th in 25:10, Claire Pacione was 54th in 25:25, Kendra Sultzer 77th in 26:29 and Katie Mannix finished 91st in 27:47.

The Saints will now have a week off before competing in the NCAA Regional at Geneseo on Nov. 16. SLU, ranked third in the Atlantic Region and 18th nationally have won four straight Atlantic Regional titles, but will find themselves as underdogs to host Geneseo, which is the top-ranked team in the region.
