On Monday the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team invited the campus community to a "Gift of Life" event, an organization that puts together a bone marrow donor list.
Members of the Golden Knights asked students, staff, and other members of the campus community to sign up to be put in the bone marrow registry by simply filling out paper work and providing a cheek swab. By giving just this minimal amount of information, the Clarkson Women's Lacrosse team significantly added to the list and increased the odds of a match being created for someone in need.
