St. Lawrence University senior Nick Crawford finished second in his heat and broke the Saint program record in advancing to the finals in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2016 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Wartburg College on Thursday.
Crawford will run in Saturday's final at 3:15 p.m. Central Time.
Luke Campbell of Salisbury State had the top time in the qualifying heats of 51.34 with St. John Fisher's Pete Girardi second at 51.72.
