Senior Stephanie Collins (Colton, NY) and junior Alix Petitti (Amsterdam, NY) of the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team added their names to the list of Golden Knights all-stars on Thursday when they were picked to represent the Green and Gold on the Liberty League All-Star team.
Petitti, gaining notice for the second time in her three-year career at Clarkson, was chosen as a Liberty League All-Star Honorable Mention for the second straight year. Petitti was among the conference's top scorers on defense, tallying three goals in 17 games this year, tied for the most on the Clarkson team.
Collins, who also was picked as a Liberty League All-Star Honorable mention, played a vital role in Clarkson's success in 2010. Collins made more saves in the league (115) than any other goalkeeper, averaging 6.76 per contest, three more than all but one other goalie in the league. It was the second straight year that Collins led the conference in saves per game.
