The Clarkson University Athletic Department is pleased to announce the addition of Katherine Cobb as the new top assistant coach for the Golden Knights' Women's Soccer program for 2015-16.

Cobb, a graduate of the University of Southern Maine in 2014 with a degree in Humanities and a minor in coaching, spent last year as the top assistant and goalkeeper coach at Middlebury College in Vermont. She replaces Kelsey Yam, who served as the assistant coach for the Golden Knights for the past two seasons.

Cobb appeared in 38 games, with 26 starts, in goal for the Huskies in her career, including all 19 contests during her senior season. An All-Little East Second-Team selection in 2013, Cobb made 153 saves and posted a 1.80 goals against average in over 1700 minutes of play as a senior. Overall in her career, she made 238 saves and produced a .785 save percentage and a 2.03 goals against average in nearly 2900 minutes.

In addition to her time coaching at Middlebury, Cobb served as the head coach and goalkeeper coach for the Seacoast United Soccer Club and has also worked camps at Colby College and the USMA. She also played in the Women's Premier Soccer League for the Seacoast United Mariners.
