Junior Katie VanDeValk (Baldwinsville, NY) continued her early season scoring outburst this week with 16 total points as she was chosen as the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday for the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team.
VanDeValk tallied 13 goals and three assists on the week, pushing her year total to 16 goals and four assists for 20 points, giving her a third-place showing in goals and a fourth-place mark in points in the conference so far. The Golden Knights compete on Tuesday, where VanDeValk looks to score her 100th career point. She enters the contest with 99 points on 81 goals and 18 assists through 31 games.
