Off to the best start in program history at 5-0, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team's players have earned numerous honors from the Liberty League thus far, and that streak remained intact as senior Katie VanDeValk (Baldwinsville, NY) was chosen as the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday.

VanDeValk led the Golden Knights in scoring while the team was in Florida, recording eight total points on seven goals and one assist. The senior had four goals and an assist in a 8-5 victory over Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday and then added three goals versus Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in a 11-6 win.

For the season, VanDeValk has scored 18 goals and five assists for a team-high total of 23 points. Her 18 goals rank third in the Liberty League while her 23 points are also the third-most in the conference. VanDeValk has also added in 12 groundballs, eight draw controls, and 10 caused turnovers, which is fourth in the Liberty League.

VanDeValk moved into fourth all-time in the program's history in scoring and has 164 career points, just nine shy of second all-time at Clarkson.
