Last week senior Brendon Shearin (Goffstown, NY) of the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll, but on Monday he moved up a spot when he was selected as the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week.
Shearin helped lead the Golden Knights to a 2-0 week with a non-league victory over Oswego State (13-12) and a conference win over Union College (8-6). Against the Lakers Shearin scored four goals on eight shots and versus the Dutchmen he added three more scores on seven shots. The senior midfielder currently leads the team in goals scored with 17 and ranks ninth in the conference in that category (1.7 gpg).
Shearin has proven to be a valuable sniper for the Knights over his four years, delivering 62 goals and 69 points overall.
