Senior Felix Llanos (Queens, NY) and freshman John Coleman (Potsdam, NY) of the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team each enjoyed standout performances last week and were rewarded with Liberty League Weekly honors on Monday.

Llanos, selected as one of four Liberty League Performers of the Week, was in a record-setting mood on Saturday against Keuka College as the senior guard tossed in 46 points, besting the previous mark by one point. He shot 14-for-17 from the floor overall and 10-for-11 from beyond the 3-point arc, topping another single-game mark for long distance shots. For the week, Llanos averaged 29.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.7 steals to go along with his 52.8 percent shooting. He easily leads the conference in the early going in scoring and also ranks first in 3-point field goals made (17) and is fourth in steals.

Coleman, named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week, posted back-to-back double-doubles for Clarkson in his first two games and then scored 23 points in the victory over Keuka on Saturday. Against Paul Smith's, Coleman came within two assists of posting a triple-double with 12 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists, and then backed that up with 11 points and 12 rebounds, as well as four steals, against Utica College. Versus Keuka, he scored 23 points and added three rebounds. For the week, Coleman averaged 15.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game and shot 71.0 percent from the field. He ranks first in rebounds in the conference, first in offensive rebounds, and seventh in assists. He is also third in field goal percentage, though he has taken four times as many shots as the two players ahead of him.
