Freshman Victoria Kirkemo (Englewood, CO) of the Clarkson University Volleyball team was named to the Hawks Invitational All-Tournament team thanks to the Golden Knights 4-0 weekend and on Monday was honored with Liberty League Rookie of the Week notice.
Kirkemo was one of two freshmen named to the Hawks Invitational All-Tournament team (Aishvina Arasu) and led Clarkson with 46 kills (3.83 kills per set) in the Knights' flawless turn at New Paltz. She also added eight aces (0.67 per set) and 35 digs (2.92 per set).
On the season, Kirkemo ranks in the top five in the Liberty League in three different categories, including total kills (121, 3rd), kills per set (2.81 kps, 5th), and aces (0.63 aps, 3rd).
In addition to Kirkemo's award, junior Lani Durio (Austin, TX) was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball.
