With an impressive 8-1 victory at Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team extended it win streak to 10 games, the longest current stretch in the country.

Ranked number two in the national polls entering the weekend, the Golden Knights improve to 21-3-1 overall and retain a spot for first place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 12-2 league mark.

Clarkson, which opened a four-game road trip with a 3-1 triumph at Harvard on Friday, has not lost since a 3-2 overtime setback to Quinnipiac on November 17 at Cheel Arena. The Green and Gold have a conference showdown coming up in Central NY next weekend with a trip to Cornell and Colgate.

The Knights enjoyed their second-highest goal-scoring effort of the year in the win at Dartmouth (4-14-1, 2-11), but the highlight was saved for senior goaltender Shea Tiley (Owen Sound, ONT) who posted her 100th career victory in the Clarkson crease.

"I was really happy with the way we played today and this weekend overall," stated head Coach Matt Desrosiers. "Today we had a solid total team effort, capped off by Shea getting her one hundredth career win which is incredible. I also thought we competed hard and took steps forward in a few areas we wanted to focus on improving. We need to build upon those steps this week in practice as we are going to need to be at our best rolling into next weekend's games."

Tiley, who has started the last 38 games, turned aside 14 of the Big Green's 15 shots to improve her all-time record to 100-23-14.

Junior left wing Loren Gabel (Kitchener, ONT), with three goals and two assists, and freshman linemate, right wing Elizabeth Giguere (Quebec City, QUE) with five points (1-4), and senior captain. defenseman Savannah Harmon (Downers Grove, IL) with three points (1-2) highlighted the offensive effort.

The Knights controlled play from the start at Thompson Arena, outshooting the home team 15-5 in the opening period en route to a 1-0 lead. Senior Amanda Titus (Stittsville, ONT) started the scoring at 7:29 with her seventh goal of the season.

Clarkson enjoyed its most productive period of the season in the middle frame by adding five more goals for a commanding 6-0 lead through 40 minutes. Junior Rhyen McGill (Whitby, ONT), Giguere, freshman Kristy Pidgeon (Ingleside, ONT) and Gabel with two tallies, and all found the scoresheet.

The Big Green's lone goal of the night was a power-play marker by Christina Rombaut.

Harmon and Gabel closed out the scoring with third-period goals.

Defensemen, senior Josiane Pozzebon (Bourget, ONT) and sophomore Ella Shelton (Ingersoll, ONT) along with freshman Tia Stoddard (La Mesa, CA) recorded two assists each.

Clarkson outshot Dartmouth 44-15. Both teams went 1-of-5 on the power play.
