The St. Lawrence University men's swimming and diving team dropped a 125.5-95.5 decision to Clarkson University on Friday night in the Augsbury Natatorium. The Saints (0-3) were led by Tad Deatly's victory in the 1000 yard free with a time of 10:58.62.
Hank McCormick also earned a victory, clocking in at 1:07.14 in the 100 yard breaststroke. Keenan Weischedel followed with a time of 1:11.83.
Kirby Kaylor was just edged in the 50 yard free, finishing in 23.06 behind Sam Zagrobelny in first (22.83).
Grant Reeder placed second in the 200 yard free with a time of 1:55.52. He also earned a second place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:00.58).
The relay team of Matt Bauer, Keenan Weischedel, Hank McCormick and Grant Reeder earned a first place finish in the 400 yard free relay (3:42.55).
James Wilczewski won both the 1 meter dive and the 3 meter dive with 223.25 and 209.85 points, respectively.
The Saints will host RIT tomorrow afternoon at 1pm.
