With outstanding results in the classroom and on the slopes, junior Christian Perryman (West Lebanon, NH) of the Clarkson University Alpine Ski team was picked as a CoSIDA/Capital One All-Academic District 3 winner for the At-Large team, chosen among all sports that don't have their own teams for All-Academic honors.

Perryman, who has a 3.981 grade-point average through five semesters in mechanical engineering, was the seventh student-athlete from Clarkson to earn CoSIDA All-Academic honors in the 2012-13 academic year, joining Vanessa Gagnon (Women's Hockey), John Coleman (Baseball/Men's Basketball), David Wixted (Baseball), Sarah Andres (Women's Soccer), Ellen Heenan (Women's Soccer), and Erika Chin (Volleyball).

Perryman was the leading skier for the Golden Knights at the USCSA Nationals, placing 17th among 97 skiers in the giant slalom in 2:12.72 and then taking 23rd out of 95 skiers in the slalom with a time of 1:42.50. Those results mirrored his regular-season results as he placed second overall in the ECSC MacConnell Division individual standings. Prior to the USCSA Nationals, Perryman had eight top-10 finishes, including a pair of victories.
