The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team suffered a 58-54 loss to Plattsburgh State on Tuesday night in Plattsburgh, NY.
The Saints (2-2) rallied back from a 30-21 halftime deficit and held a four point lead heading into the final 4:00 minutes. The Cardinals (2-2) scored a quick basket to swing the momentum in their favor, then Shamoy McIntosh hit a 3-pointer with 1:17 to give the home team the lead, which they were able to hang on to down the stretch for the 58-54 win.
St. Lawrence, which shot 21-for-55 from the field, was led by senior Terry Parham and first-year student Brady Conlin's 11 points apieace. Senior Ralph Temgoua and sophomore Payton Stahler both chipped in seven points each, while sophomore Janpeter Brase grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
The Saints will be back in action on Friday, Dec. 2 when they travel to Ithaca for a non-conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00pm.
