Sophomore Aimee Caligiore earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 156 as St. Lawrence University's women's golf team finished second in the ECAC Division II/III Women's Golf Championships at the Blue Heron golf course near Rochester.
Caligiore was the only player in the field to break 80 with rounds of 77 and 79 for her 156 total, a six-stroke lead over Ithaca's Amanda Faille, who finished at 162.
NYU won the team title with a team total of 668, 15 strokes better than the Saint total of 683. Ithaca was third at 716 with Cortland fourth at 733, St. John Fisher fifth at 814 and LeMoyne sixth at 872.
Senior Alair Muzzatti tied for fourth with rounds of 85 and 81 for a 166 total while junior Melissa Snizek was seventh with rounds of 89 and 85 for a 169 total. Kerrin Ehrensbeck shot rounds of 94 and 99 for a 193 total and first year Kelly Hale made her collegiate golf debut with rounds of 107 and 98 for a 205 total.
The tournament concludes the fall portion of the Saint schedule.
