After the break, Panara added a man-up tally to increase Ithaca's lead back to five just about four and a half minutes into the second frame.

The Saints rallied with goals from Massey, Norris and Schmalz. Schmalz put in a spin move of her own for the Saints' seventh tally to bring the game within four with 12:39 in the second half.

Boghosian recorded her 24th goal of the season and her third of the game, closing the gap to three, and just over three minutes later repeated the task and closed the gap to 11-8 in favor of the Bombers.

Schmalz brought the game within two after a quick back-and-forth between her and Jewett after a free-position opportunity for the Saints. Rice increased the Bombers lead back to three to lead 12-9 with 2:50 remaining in regulation.

Massey closed the game with shot from the arc for the Saints 10th goal with 15 seconds to play.
