Seniors Alanna Blackburn and Nicole Leinders scored in two events to lead the St. Lawrence women's swimming team on the second day of competition at the UNYSCSA Championship meet at Ithaca College.
The duo combined with classmate Kathryn Whittum and first-year Claire Anderson to finish 12th in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.71 to add 30 points to the Saints overall team total in the first event of the day.
Blackburn then took 13th in the 100 butterfly (1:00.04), while Leinders placed 20th in the 200 freestyle (1:59.80).
The Saints remain in 11th place heading into the third day of competition with 147 points.
Friday's list of events include the 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 800 freestyle relay for both the men and women, in addition to the men's 1M diving event.
