For the second time this weekend, Alanna Blackburn and Heather Foley posted a pair of event wins for the St. Lawrence women's swimming and diving team, as did first-year Taylor McClung, as the Saints defeated Clarkson 124-100 in the Augsbury Pool on Saturday afternoon.

Blackburn swam to first-place finishes in both the 50 and the 100 freestyle with times of 25.36 and 55.70, respectively. Meanwhile, Foley claimed the 200 IM (2:23.36) and 100 fly (1:01.99) for the second straight meet.

While Blackburn paced the Saints in the sprint freestyles, it was McClung who did so for St. Lawrence in the distance events. She was first to the wall in the 1000 again on Saturday in 11:18.27, and was followed by teammates Alexandra Wagner (11:35.52) and Gabriella Marchetti (11:36.44).

In the 500 free, McClung (5:35.36) led Wagner (5:40.63) and Madelyn Lares (6:23.41) to the wall.

The St. Lawrence women also claimed the top three spots in the 200 free with first-year Maddy Hauben getting her first collegiate victory in 2:04.47, with seniors Nicole Leinders (2:05.57) and Kathryn Whittum (2:07.43) right behind her.

The Saints will continue their dual meet schedule at home next Saturday, Nov. 7 with a 1 p.m. meet against RIT.
