Place had seven points in the Bears’ sweep of Geneseo and Brockport over the weekend. Against the Ice Knights, the sophomore forward had two goals, including one on the power play, and an assist. The following night against the Golden Eagles, Place scored two goals in a span of 1:35, including the game-winner, and contributed two assists. Potsdam (4-3, 3-3 SUNYAC) is currently fourth in the SUNYAC standings after notching it’s first league weekend sweep and victory over Geneseo in nearly three years. The Bears are back in action Dec. 2-3 when they host SUNY Cortland and Oswego State. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
