POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Potsdam will not be offering its usual 3v3 league this spring. In its place the men's hockey program will be offering numerous spring Fun & Fundamentals Clinics.

"Due to challenging logistics and ice scheduling SUNY Potsdam will not be offering the 3v3 Spring Hockey League this season," said Bears men's hockey coach Chris Bernard. "However, in lieu of that program, the BEARS Hockey Staff, in conjunction with Potsdam Junior Hockey, is proud to offer this year, Fun and Fundamentals. This series of clinics is designed to help players develop fundamentally sound skills, proper techniques and fun. It is open to players from ALL local minor hockey associations."

The clinics will focus on skating skills such as posture, edges, transitions and stride development. Participants will also work on their puck handling, passing, shooting, puck control and stick handling.

The cost of attendance is $10 per player per session. Players may attend sessions at their own discretion with no obligations. Sessions are open to all players in the designated age bracket (see below). Payment is due prior to taking the ice each session. Parental supervision is required in the locker rooms and full equipment is necessary for all sessions.

Clinics are held on the following dates/times for the designated age group: Open to Players from ALL Associations.
