POTSDAM, N.Y.—Come join the SUNY Potsdam men's basketball team tomorrow night as they celebrate senior captain Curtis Pierce's 1,000 points. The Bears host Algonquin College for a 7:30 p.m. exhibition contest. Potsdam's captain will be honored prior to the tip-off.

The senior has averaged 13.9 points-per-game in each of his three seasons, totaling 1,015 points in 73 contests. He has amassed 551 rebounds, 123 assists and 113 steals. Pierced has also recorded 14 double-doubles in his career.

The Bears open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 16, against Ithaca College at 8 p.m. in the first round of the North Country Invitational at Clarkson University.
