OSWEGO N.Y. – The SUNY Potsdam golf team finished eighth at the Oswego State Fall Invitational on Monday afternoon. SUNY Delhi out shot the competition with a score of 301, while Potsdam finished with a score of 342.
Freshman John Hickey led the Bears into the clubhouse shooting a round of 82, tying him for 26th overall. Sophomore Austin Pivetta was second for the Bears posting a score of 83. Senior Matt Supernault finished his round with an 85. Senior Andrew Holmes and freshman Conor Talty (Fairport, N.Y. / Fairport) rounded out the team with identical scores of 92.
The Bears return to the course next Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Elmira College Fall Invitational. Tee time is set for 10 a.m.
