CANTON, N.Y.— The SUNY Potsdam golf team placed ninth at the St. Lawrence Invitational over the weekend. The host Saints won the competition with a score of 298, while the Bears finished with 324.
Freshman John Hickey paced Potsdam with a round of 77, tying him for 13th overall. Freshman Conor Talty and senior Matt Supernault were next with scores of 80 and 81, respectively. Senior Andrew Holmes and junior Harrison Davenport rounded out the team with an 86 and 91.
The Bears are back in action next Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury. Tee time is set for 1 p.m.
