MACEDON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam golf team finished fourth at the ECAC Metro/Upstate Championship over the weekend. St. John Fisher College won the tournament with a two-day score of 602. St. Lawrence and Clarkson tied for second with 631 followed by Bears at 646.
Freshman John Hickey tied for ninth with rounds of 77 and 80 for a 157. Senior Matt Supernault tied for 11th, just a stroke behind at 157 (77/81). Sophomore Austin Pivetta was next with a 168 (83/85). Senior Andrew Holmes and freshman Conor Talty rounded out the group with 170 (91/79) and 171 (84/87), respectively.
The golf team closes out the season with three top-four finishes, including two tournament victories, in seven events.
