Cortland, NY – Jordan Ayers scored 12 points but the SUNY Canton men's basketball team dropped a 93-54 road decision at SUNY Cortland on Saturday afternoon.

Ayers was the lone Roos (0-2) player to finish in double figures as Joseph Werner and Danny Santana added nine and eight points, respectively. Victor Bakre also chipped in seven points and Ibu Smith pulled down a team-high six rebounds.

Justin Cooper led five players in double figures for the Red Dragons (2-0), while Ryan Schmadel, James Morales and Zach Lydon added 13 points apiece. Nicky Bonura chipped in 11 points, while Morales and Cooper dished out six assists each.
