Morrisville, NY – Allison Auger scored the game-winner with 1 minute, 26 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the SUNY Canton women's lacrosse team to a thrilling 12-11 road victory at Morrisvlle State on Saturday afternoon.

The Roos (2-4) trailed 11-10 with less than six minutes remaining in regulation before Katelynn Nutter tied the game on her third goal of the contest to set up the heroics.

SUNY Canton jumped out to an early 4-2 lead 12 minutes into the game behind a pair of goals from Nutter and one each from Amanda Woods and Lora Ardoin. The Mustangs (3-2) scored four of the final five goals of the opening half to take a 9-7 lead into intermission.

Canton scored three of the first four goals following halftime as Auger, Cecelia Neally and Ardoin all found the back of the net to knot the game at 10-10 with 22:30 remaining.
