St. Lawrence University football games will once again be aired on a local radio station in 2016. All home and away games will be broadcast on WSNN B99.3 FM, with Chris Engel, sports director at B99.3, calling the action for the Saints.
The Saints open the 2016 season with a 7 p.m. game Friday, September 2 in the first night game to be played at Leckonby Stadium.
In addition to radio coverage, Saints fans can also watch a live stream of every home game of the season at www.saintsathletics.com. Engel's call of the game will accompany the video.
Engel has covered North Country sports for over 18 years, starting at Plattsburgh State as the voice of Cardinal hockey, basketball, and softball. At WQKE in Plattsburgh, he was the operations and sports director for over three years starting in 1998.
He was assistant sports director at the old "99 Hits" in Potsdam, was promoted to sports director in 2004 and began a nine-year run as the voice of St. Lawrence University football as well as SUNY Potsdam hockey and basketball.
