The nationally-ranked #19 St. Lawrence University men's soccer team dominated the majority of play throughout the game, but couldn't score a goal as it tied St. John Fisher 0-0 in double overtime on Tuesday evening in Pittsford, NY.
The Saints, who outshot the Cardinals 21-4 in the contest, move to 7-1-2 on the season. Aaron Costello moved to 7-0-2 in net for St. Lawrence.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals, now 3-6-2, had arguably the best chance to score on a header shot from Joel Castellini in the first half, but that bid hit the crossbar.
The Saints generated several opportunities in both overtime periods, finishing with an 8-1 shot advantage. Kyle Metcalfe made eight saves in net for the Cardinals to keep the Saints off the board.
St. Lawrence will host RIT in a Liberty League contest on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
