WADDINGTON – A Waddington man was jailed after state police responded to a report of domestic abuse at a residence on Franklin Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Stephen G. Olmstead, 32, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment, and resisting arrest, state police said.
Olmstead allegedly caused damage to a vehicle that belonged to a third party at the residence and grabbed and pushed an individual, troopers said.
When troopers advised Olmstead he was under arrest, he actively resisted, according to police.
Police said he was arraigned in Waddington Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton, on $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond.
