Two charged with warrants in Massena

MASSENA -- Village police say they recently charged two people with outstanding warrants:

• Shahniice L. King, 24, of Angus Thomas Road, Akwesasne, Quebec was charged with an arrest warrant and a bench warrant at 10:58 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37. The bench warrant was for petit larceny and the arrest warrant was for four felony counts of second-degree forgery and misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said. She was arraigned in Massena court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $500 on the bench warrant and $1,000 on the bench warrant, police said.

• Meaghan L. Hehir, 26, of Main Street, Massena was charged with an arrest warrant at 2:58 p.m. Friday on East Orvis Street.
