Two charged with drug-related counts in Rossie, Gouverneur

State troopers say they recently charged two people with minor drug offenses in unrelated incidents:

• Christian T. Martin, 21, of Harrisville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, violating of state sanitary code, insufficient taillights and no license at 6:25 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 11 in Rossie. He was held pending court action, troopers said.

• Lydia A. Countryman, 20, of Antwerp was charged with 10 counts of unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding at 7:50 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 11 in Gouverneur and was released with an appearance ticket.
