State police responded to a rash of crashes Saturday as snow covered area roadways and made driving difficult:
• PARISHVILLE – A Parishville woman was involved in a property-damage accident Saturday afternoon on State Highway 72 near the Capell Road, according to state police.
Lisa A. Macwilliams, 43, was discovered to be the driver after police responded to a report of an accident at 5:45 p.m., troopers said.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, police said.
• PARISHVILLE – Massena-based state police said they investigated a property-damage accident Saturday night on State Highway 11B near the Connor Road.
Troopers said they responded at 7:52 p.m. to the accident and discovered Samuel N. Folta, 48, to be the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, police said.
• STOCKHOLM – a Gouverneur man was involved in a property-damage accident on U.S. Highway 11 Saturday evening, according to state police.
Troopers said they investigated a reported accident at 7:45 p.m. and discovered Harold W. Prashaw, 55, to be the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, troopers said.
• OSWEGATCHIE – An Ogdensburg woman was the driver in a property-damage accident on State Highway 68 early Sunday morning, according to state police.
Troopers said they responded to a report of an accident at 2:16 a.m. and discovered Kristin M. Arquitt, 21, to be the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, police said.
• GOUVERNEUR – Gouverneur-based state police said they responded to a reported
property-damage accident at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Battle Hill Road, according to state police.
Troopers said after investigation it was revealed that Shaunah B. Prashaw, 20, was the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, troopers said.
• GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man was involved in a property-damage accident on Little Bow Road near the Peabody Road Saturday evening, according to state police.
Troopers said they responded to a reported accident at 6:30 p.m. and discovered Tanner M. Oriely, 26, to be the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is closed, police said.
