POTSDAM -- A St. Regis Falls man was charged with erratic driving and drunk driving Saturday.
Ryan M. Gibson, 22, was charged with driving erratically on Sissonville Road, according to St. Lawrence County deputies.
Gibson was allegedly travelling in an easterly direction and almost struck on a motorist in the west bound lane, according to deputies.
The motorist was forced off the road in an effort to avoid a collision with a late model, blue Jeep, said deputies.
Deputies then located Gibson operating a 1998 Keep Cherokee in the VFW parking lot attempting to re-enter traffic on Market Street.
After speaking with Gibson, deputies determined that he had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. His blood alcohol content was allegedly .17 percent, according to deputies.
Gibson was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation after it was determined that he did not have a license, deputies said.
He was also charged with failure to keep right, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusing to submit to a breath screening device, according to deputies.
He was ticketed and release, deputies said.
