Edwards sex offender jailed on $1,500 after failing to register

EDWARDS -- An Edwards sex offender was jailed after he failed to register, St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies said.

Chirstopher P. Beck, of 174, Main St., was charged with failing to notify the State Offender Registry.

Deputies say Beck did not submit a change of address in September this year within the ten day time limit as required by Corrections Law.

Beck was sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $1,500 cash bail.
