Separate domestic incidents lead to charges for two Massena residents

MASSENA -- Two village residents were charged following unrelated doemstic incidents on Sunday.

Kerry A. Watkins, 27, of 58 Sycamore St. was arrested at 5:39 p.m. and charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt. She is also facing misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child and a violation of second-degree harassment. She was arraigned in Massena Village Court and released on her own recognizance to re-appear on a later date.

Police said the charges stem from a domestic dispute with Allen Gardner.

Jared F. Garrow, 19, of 17 Tamarack St. is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

He was arraigned in Massena Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $500 bail.
