To the Editor:
St. Lawrence County is fortunate to have three qualified candidates running for treasurer.
Although each brings specific talents to the job, Bob Santamoor brings a sincere passion for serving the residents of St. Lawrence County.
In working with him at the County for the past several years, I've seen how hard he works and how committed he is to the county.
After putting in a full day at the office, he would often continue to work into the evening from home and on weekends.
When the county introduced the new financial system, Bob was the main trainer for the system. He learned the system and taught department heads and financial staff how to use it as well. Even with his extensive workload, he was always accessible and available for questions and help with financial reports.
He is a workaholic and he will focus his full attention on his duties as St. Lawrence County Treasurer. He has attended numerous town & county meetings and events. He has met hundreds of people and listened to their concerns.
He is not someone just looking for a job; he is genuinely interested in serving the residents of St. Lawrence County.
Please join me in supporting Bob Santamoor for County Treasurer.
Mary Lou Rupp
St. Lawrence County clerk
