Potsdam police make speeding, other vehicle and traffic charges

POTSDAM – Police charged three drivers with speeding and others with other vehicle and traffic offenses on Friday.

Marius J. Griffin, 27, Potsdam, was issued a ticket for allegedly speeding at 48 miles per hour in the 30 mph zone on Market Street at 1:38 a.m. He also received tickets for alleged driving with an expired license and having right side brake lamp out.

William R. Henry, 18, White Plains, was allegedly clocked at driving 57 mph in the 30 mph zone along Sandstone Drive and was issued a ticket at 10:10 p.m.

Emily M. Shepherd, 21, Watertown, was issued a ticket for allegedly driving at 46 mph in the 30 mph zone on Maple Street just after noon.

Taylor D. Harrison, 22, Cortlandt Manor, was charged with third-degree unlicensed operation, a suspended license, after being stopped on Chestnut Street for allegedly failing to signal until completing the turn off of Lawrence Avenue. He was issued the two tickets at 12:24 a.m.

Stacy M. Sessions, 48, Norwood, was issued tickets for no tail lamps and consumption of alcoholic beverage/possession of open container along Lawrence Avenue at 10:44 p.m.

Sierra L. White, 19, Hogansburg, was stopped for allegedly driving without lit plate lamps at 11:14 p.m. along Market Street.
