POTSDAM – Potsdam police say they arrested a Clarkson University student Tuesday afternoon after he was found to be in possession of stolen signs in his dorm room.
Joshua G. Vogt, 19, Hamlin, was charged with three counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 2:30 p.m., officers said.
Vogt allegedly had multiple street signs and other signs that were displayed on the walls of his room, police said.
The signs were reportedly stolen at different times over the last semester.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Potsdam Village Court Feb. 7, police said.
