POTSDAM – Two men face charges for allegedly stealing a golf cart around 3:40 a.m. Oct. 13, according to Potsdam police.
Police said Robert J. King, 21, Schenectady, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy and David A. Degroot, 22, Oceanside, was charged with fifth-degree conspiracy.
Police said King was the operator of the golf cart and Degroot was an accomplice.
The cart was located on Grant Street and returned to Collegiate Village.
Both men were issued appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Village Court Nov. 8 at 9:30 a.m., officers said.
