Steven Amador, 22, 92 State Highway 345 Apt. 2, was charged at 8:05 p.m. with first-degree aggravated criminal contempt, felony, third-degree assault, and obstruction of breathing, officers said.

Deputies allege Amador forcer his girlfriend to the ground and strangled her and struck her in the face causing an injury.
