POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was jailed after he was found to be driving on a suspended license on Market Street on Sunday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Kevin W. Weems, 58, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate plate lamps following a traffic stop in the Village of Potsdam, deputies said.

Weems has more than three suspensions on three separate dates, officers said.

He was arraigned in Potsdam court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $500 bail, deputies said.
