POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged after causing an accident due to failing to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle on Maple Street Monday evening, according to Potsdam police.
Sunidevreddy R. Alety, 52, was charged with failure to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle at 7:25 p.m., officers said.
No injuries were reported in the two vehicle accident involving a rescue vehicle.
Alety was cited and released on a ticket returnable to Potsdam court Oct. 11.
