Potsdam man charged with DWI

POTSDAM -- A Potsdam man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Pierrepont Avenue Thursday morning, according to state police.

Jack S. Wilson III, 25, was charged with first-offense DWI and failure to stop at a red light at 2:18 a.m., police said.

His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .17 percent, officers said,

Wilson also failed several field sobriety tests, police said.

He was cited and released.
