POTSDAM -- Village police say they and the state liquor authority investigated at Backstreets, Market Street, on early on Saturday morning and charged numerous suspects under age 21 with allegedly possessing forged for fake identification.
Those charged with one count each of possession or use of a forged or fictitious license include:
• Elizabeth J. Kim, 20, of Brewster
• Victoria J. Quinones, 18, Wappingers Falls
• Alena K. Wuehrleitner, 20, Potsdam
• Emily P. Lingel, 19, Glens Falls
• Sarah R. Kellogg, 20, Potsdam
• Matthew D. Saddlemire, 19, Gansevoort
• Joshua A. Prawdzik, 19, Schenectady
• Michael R. Collier, 20, Delmar
• Bradley R. Clelland, 19, Potsdam
• Ashler J. Herrick, 19, Potsdam
All were released with appearance tickets for Potsdam Town Court on Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., police said.
Two suspects were charged with second-harassment during the incident.
Police say James I. Hughes, 21, of Leroy shoved an officer as he was being escorted out of the bar.
Sean O. Donohue, 22, of Bolton Landing was charged for allegedly yelling and swearing at officers providing security in front of the bar.
They were each also released on appearance tickets.
