Ogdensburg police blotter, Nov. 6

• Caller says her vehicle alarm is going off at 11 p.m. on Montgomery Street and requests assistance with checking it. No issues.

• Zachary Harper was cited for inadequate head lights on State Highway 37 at 10:51 p.m.

• Report from caller hearing someone trying to break into his residence on New York Avenue at 10:46 p.m. No one in residence. No signs of anything suspicious.

• Trista Chase was cited for speed in zone on Ford Street at 9:39 p.m. for allegedly driving 42 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.

• Report from caller of the smell of perfume coming through her walls and in hallway at Centennial Terrace on Washington Street at 8:52 p.m. Nothing suspicious.

• Report of a problem at 516 Lafayette Street. Corey Scott was charged with resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child at 7:05 p.m. and held in lockup awaiting arraignment.

• Joan Hall was cited for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate tail lights at the intersection of New York Avenue and Spring Street at 7:04 p.m.

• Report of a possible intoxicated male sitting in a vehicle on Lafayette Street at 6:13 p.m. Cory Scott was cited for open container.

• Report of fire alarm at SRO building on Ford Street at 5:36 p.m. False alarm. Subject was smoking in a room.

• Report of a vehicle that has been parking in 15-minute parking all day on Washington Street. Felicia Barkley was issued a parking summons at 4:21 p.m. returnable to court within 10 days.

• Police checked on a vacant building on Washington Street and charged Joseph LaPlante with second-degree criminal trespassing at 3:21 p.m.

• Report at 2:11 p.m. that an unknown subject stole her phone and made Amazon purchases on her account. Subject given NYS incident report.

• Request for police assistance at Belmont Courts with getting shopping carts at 11:59 a.m. Police report matter taken care of.
