NORFOLK -- An Ogdensburg man faces numerous charges including a felony after crashing his vehicle while impaired by drugs following a reported domestic dispute Saturday morning, according to state police.
Guage L. Tyo, 23, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation: alcohol, felony, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, reckless driving, fourth-degree criminal mischief: preventing an emergency call and fourth-degree criminal mischief: damaging property, troopers said.
Troopers said he crashed his vehicle into a tree off of Crabb Street after fleeing the scene when police arrived.
Tyo was also cited for driving without a license, speeding, no seat belt, and three counts of failure to stop at a stop sign, police said.
He was held on $2,000 bail and is to appear in Norfolk court Aug. 26, officers said.
