Norfolk woman arrested by county sheriff's deputies for forgery

NORFOLK -- Heather A. McConnell, 42, of Norfolk, was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies March 18 with third-degree forgery and providing a false written statement.

McConnell was charged in connection with a Jan. 21 incident.

Deputies allege that she forged a person’s name on a personal check not belonging to her, and then gave a written statement to deputies denying that she forged the name.

She was ticketed, released and is scheduled to appear in town court at a later date.
