NORFOLK -- A Norfolk woman is charged with multiple felonies for allegedly stealing and cashing her father's checks.
Brynn L. Dickerson, 23, was charged with eight counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument at 10:20 a.m. at the police station in Massena, troopers said.
Dickerson allegedly cashed eight checks totalling $890 starting on May 8. They were for an account her father used for his business, Dickerson Transmission and Auto Repair, court documents said.
Dickerson admitted taking and cashing the checks, according to said documents.
She was arraigned in court and released on her own recognizance to re-appear on a later date, troopers said.
