MADRID – A Norfolk man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a property-damage accident on County Route 31 on Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Blake S. Barkley, 25, was charged with first-offense DWI after a blood-alcohol-content test revealed a BAC level of .13 percent, officers said.

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Madrid Town Court at a later date, deputies said.
